How do I sign up for classes?

We use the MindBody online system for all our class sign-ups. To sign up for a class, complete the following steps.

  1. Visit our studio page on MindBody.
  2. Locate the class you want to sign up for on the schedule.
  3. Click the "Sign Up Now" button next to the class.
  4. Follow the instructions in the pop-up box to complete the sign up process.

Do I have to reserve my place in a class?

You can reserve a spot in a studio class; however, you do not have to make a reservation in order to attend. Drop-ins are always welcome!

What is your cancelation policy?

All studio class cancelations must be done no later than 4 hours prior to the class start time.

There is a $10 fee if you reserved a class and do not show up or fail to cancel in advance. In addition, drop-ins will lose their $15 drop-in charge and session package holders will lose their session as if they were present.

How challenging are your classes?

While some classes can be more challenging that others, they beauty of yoga & fitness is that the intensity and challenge of each class is completely controlled by you. Push to your edge on each pose/exercise or find a gentle approach to stretch and strengthen. Each class meets you where you are today!

I'm not flexible and haven't done yoga before, can I still come to any class?

We believe that yoga is for everyone and offer a wide range of classes for all experience levels. For classes that are more challenging, we can adapt poses to fit where you are today.

If you are a true beginner, we suggest starting with Vinyasa Flow Yoga or Candlelight Vinyasa Flow Yoga, so that you can learn more about each pose and alignment points.

What should I wear and bring?

One of the great things about yoga is that there is no uniform. All you have to wear is something you are comfortable in. Yoga leggings have stretch and move with you, but sweats or athletic shorts are very acceptable. Tanks and tees are perfect for tops.

For equipment, if you have a yoga mat, feel free to bring it with you. If you don't have a mat, don't worry! We provide mats at the studio, as well as any props that are used in a class.

The only other thing you need to bring is a water bottle with a lid or closure so that you can stay hydrated! (No glass bottles, please.)

Are there any etiquette rules I should know?

Yoga etiquette is simple: be respectful.

  • Make sure to be on time for each class. Give yourself a few extra minutes to prepare your space, quietly chat with others in the class, or bring yourself into focus on what you need that day from class.
  • Let your instructor know about any injuries or conditions you may have that will affect your ability to complete poses. We want each class to be safe and restorative for you.
  • Turn off your cell phone, being respectful of both your and your fellow classmates' time in class.
  • If you need to leave early, please quietly gather your things before Savasana so as not to disturb your classmates, as we end each class in a reflective pose and space.

What specialty series classes do you offer?

We have three specialty yoga classes that are offered throughout the year. Please visit our Yoga, Pilates, & Barre page for more information on each class.

I'm a beginner, can I still join Boot Camp?

While we welcome all to Boot Camp, we do not recommend a true beginner jumping into this intense program. If you are able to run 1 mile in under 13 minutes and don't have any major medical issues, then we welcome you to join us. If you are unable to meet those requirements, we recommend trying out a few of our studio fitness or yoga classes first, along with a run-walk program to build your stamina and help you reach your goal of outdoor training.

What should I bring with me?

Water, good sneakers, and yourself! Hand-held water bottles typically work best for runners. We move around A LOT, so you don't want anything weighing you down.

I'm unsure this program is for me. What should I do?

If you're unsure whether this program is for you, please call Lisa at (770) 432-7900 and ask about scheduling a free trial class!
